摘要：A shear valve () comprises a casing having a first part () for positioning on oneside of a pipe and a second part () engageable with the first part () for positioning on theother side of the pipe. A blade () is disposed substantially within the first part and isactuable across the pipe towards the second part for cutting the pipe. The blade has asupport region for supporting the periphery of the pipe as the pipe is being cut.
