摘要：A shelf assembly comprises a plurality of spaced, vertically extending tubularpoles which support one or more shelving components (e.g. shelf elements, cabinets,etc.) therebetween. The components are supported in place by means of retainer ringswhich encircle the poles, which are freely slidable to any desired vertical position thereon,and which are adapted to be clamped at a desired position, the rings each being providedwith an annular recess; and hook-like brackets are affixed to spaced portions of eachshelving component for insertion into the recesses of the retainer rings.
